Week Five Water /Sports Camp 7/21-7/25

Now is the Time To Teach Them To:

Participate in sports for good health, fun and physical activity. To learn to be part of a team, good sportsmanship and familiarize themselves with different outdoor sports! Most of this camp is spent outdoors, doing physical spots and activities.

7/21Organized sports
Lets learn and participate in baseball, football, soccer, and field hockey! Let's play kickball, dodge ball, and stick ball.
Craft: Design your own Frisbee
Snack: Sports Drinks, graham crackers & sliced apples

7/22 Team Sports (teams of 2)
Lets play Jarts, horseshoes, egg and spoon race, Karate, sack race, balloon bust game, 4 square. Trampoline fun. Water balloon toss, water frisbee game.
Craft: Make your own Hacky Sack ball, Make your own visor.
Snack: Hot dogs & Chips  w/juice/milk/H2O

7/23 Lets play with Balls!
Volleyball, tennis, croquet, lawn bowling, badminton and more! Also, today is Water play day! Water duck game, hoses, sprinklers, water sliding, and squirt guns! Giant Ball for crab soccer game!
Craft: Create your own pennants
Snack: Jell-O w/fruit & Pretzels Juice/H2O

7/24 Indoor sports Day!
Ping Pong, Air hockey, Board Games, Darts ,Bowling  and more!
Craft: Make your own sports pillow! Make and decorate your own sports cupcakes!
Snack: Sports Cupcakes and Juice

7/25 Summer Olympics!
Children will participate in the following events: Relay Races, Single foot races, Archery, Kick the ball contest, Frisbee throw, log throw, and the obstacle course. A scavenger hunt will follow. Awards, medals and prizes given to each child. No child is left out! Water play after awards ceremony! Duck water carnival game!
Snack: Chips, Dips, Popcorn and hamburger/cheeseburgers. Juice, H2O.

Week  Six Science & Nature Camp 7/28-8/1

Now is the Time To Teach Them To:

Appreciate nature and the world around them. From Trees to birds, earth, sky , flowers, bugs and Butterflies! Its also a week of scientific experiments: Making slime, rubber bounce balls, putting an egg inside a bottle, and mad science!! Fun for all ages!

Nature and science
Design your own kaleidoscopes, begin our nature booklets, Leaf pressing, Dinosaur Dig. Look for bugs and worms to add to our compounding box and learn about composting. Begin gardening and plant a tomato plant to take home and grow!
Outdoor Activity: Gardening, watering and nature walk. Begin Bug Farms.
Snack: Raisin bread & Cheese, Juice/H2O

7/29
Mad Scientist Day
Build a working volcano, make a kazoo, and see an egg get sucked into a bottle! Watch Raisins Dance by themselves and Magic Jumping beans!
Craft: Create a Chia Pet of your own to take home and grow!
Outdoor Activity: Kick ball game and learn Hopscotch and Marbles!
Snack:: Flying Saucer cookies & Milk/Juice/H2O

7/30
Aliens, our solar system, Rocket ships and Spaceships!!
Build your own rocket or spaceship today! We will fire off several working model rockets and fly a remote helicopter today! Balloon blow up experiment, and salt and pepper experiment with a bar of soap!
Craft: Build your own solar system shadow box.
Outdoor Activity: Relay Races and squirt gun fun!
Snack: Gutter Sundae!!!

7/31
Children will begin our large Butterfly Farm and Lady Bug Farm! Microscope and telescope fun! Break open your own Geode with crystals! Finish nature book and have photo taken for it.
Outdoor Activity: Free Choice!
Snack: Butterfly cookies and milk/juice/H2O
